Two pieces from the well respected New Zealand Potter Mirek Smisek, 145mm tall vase with a gestural finger swipe decoration to the upper part of the body, in a dark glaze, with a band of a lighter oatmeal colour glaze to the foot, a clear MS mark to the base edge, Very Good 9/10 plus 115mm tall to the top of the lid x 130mm wide lidded sugar bowl in a dark glaze, an indistinct mark to the lower base edge, some light crazing to the inside of the bowl, 20mm hairline to lid, Very Good 8/10 (2)
