GBI-68A, Rarity A, (2), all over salt glazed, impressed M ROOTS (Wellington) to shoulder, T Field Potter Sydney mark to lower body, base edge crack that goes 90mm into the body, and 40mm into the base, not visible from the front, small under base edge chip, light body wear, a significant early, New Zealand bottle, one of New Zealand’s earliest bottles circa 1850, recently found in Christchurch, Very Good 7.5/10
