Early stick pin badge for Harley Davidson Motor Cycles, 80mm long, black enamel on copper? light wear, Very Good 8/10 Plus bright brass modelled head for Indian Motorcycles (embossed on rear), Very Good 9/10 (2) Harley Davidson was founded in 1903, it is one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression along with its historical rival, Indian Motorcycles Indian Motorcycle was founded in 1901 in Springfield, Massachusetts, by George M. Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom (The Hendee Manufacturing Company), and quickly became one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world. In 1903, Indian Motorcycle introduced the first V-twin motorcycle and continued to innovate with new designs and technologies.
