185mm tall x 255 x 145mm terracotta bust in fine detail with incised moko, wearing a cloak to his shoulders, of Pomare, an important Maori chief and a signatory to the Treaty of Waitangi, incised mark to the base, RS Lovatt, Temuka, NZ' not the usual TN Lovatt? and the number 1, shrinkage cracks made during manufacturer to base and base edge to the rear, otherwise Very Good 8/10
