300mm diameter a wide but shallow console bowl or fruit dish with hand applied glaze in orange and yellow almost like icing trialling on a cake these vivid energetic squiggles contrast against a darker boarder and a neutral matte background. 1002/1 W-Germany to base, some discolouration/marks to centre, small under base edge chip, Very Good 8/10 plus 365mm long x 117mm This stunning elongated oval dish is hand decorated mid century design from Ruscha Keramik during the 1950's 60's it features a sleek matte black finish accented with flowing organic abstract wave in a soft gold /muted yellow, this is part of his 700 series plate and tray forms. The rear has the hand inscribed name Pirjo which identifies the factory decorator who hand painted and stylized line patterns on this specific item. 718/2 and Ruscha Handarbeit (Handmade) to base, Very Good 9/10 (2)
